A cinematic portrait of internationally recognized sculptor Tom Queoff and the creation of his most ambitious work.

Tom Queoff has spent a career working at the edge of what sculpture can be across wood, ice, steel, stone, and bronze, and at scales that demand as much physical commitment as artistic vision. The Jesus Sculpture represented a singular moment in his practice: a work whose ambition matched the full weight of his experience.

JMC documented the creation of the piece as both portrait and record. The production was designed to capture two things simultaneously: the physical reality of what Queoff was making and the interior life of an artist working at the height of his powers. Interview direction, cinematography, and editorial were all built around that dual frame, the hands doing the work, and the mind behind them.
